How to install and play the game

Files for Mac can be run on all versions of OS X.You need to uncompress the 7z archive using the proper software (please use Keka to avoid problems). If the archive contains a DMG, double click it to mount the disk.After that, drag & drop the game icon into Applications (or another folder, Desktop will be fine too).New versions of MacOS block applications from identified developers. If you have this problem, just press Ctrl while clicking the game icon, and select Open.Alternatively you can use the “Open Anyway” button in the General pane of Security & Privacy preferences. Love this game, my cd that I still have cracked and was good to find this so I could still play...anyone have any old links for mods? I saw there used to be a track editor and usa speedway'daytona' where they moved talladega finish line to middle of turn. I started playing when I was 9 in 94...here I am at 36 and play it by dragging nascar.exe to dosbox , exit game ..takes
You to command prompt in dosbox....then type nascar -h and hit enter and it goes to high quality 640x480

I can actually say I have the manual for the DOS version of the game (Disc is lost, all the papers are here though). I also have the Track Pack manual and the setup instructions.
This manual is a simple setup one, that seems to be from a '96 release I believe. I'm not sure how to turn my manual into a PDF though so I'd need help with that.

This game has such good memories growing up still one of the best racing or at least Nascar games ever. I remember spending so much time getting my setups on the cars just right which this feature is lacking in today's Nascar games. This is probably the only game where I got so lost in working on my cars in the testing section where I logged 100 plus laps just testing the car out.
